Prostate Health: Chili Peppers for prostate cancer
A natural chemical found in red chili peppers can help prevent prostate cancer, according to a recent study by scientists at the Center for American cancer research. University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine has a similar result.
This chemical is called capsaicin, an ingredient found in chili peppers which make you feel hot and sweat when you eat them. According to researchers, it may make prostate cancer cells self-destruct.
Some other experts at the Institute of Technology Madras (India) have claimed in a new study published in The Journal of Physical Chemistry, that capsaicin molecule attaches to the surface of cancer cells and influences the surrounding.
However, experts do not recommend eating too much chili pepper as it can cause stomach damage.
