Being busy boosts the brain
Do you want to be smarter?
Get busier! Science suggests a “healthy” busy can be beneficial to our mental health. According to a recent study published in the journal Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience found adults with a packed daily schedule are better in brain health, specifically cognitive function than less busy adults.
The study found that greater busyness was associated with better working memory, episodic memory, crystallized knowledge, processing speed, and reasoning.
The findings revealed that regardless of age and education, a busier lifestyle was always linked to better mental health. In general, higher levels of busyness were associated with better cognition.
