Almonds have many benefits for health. They only have 52% fat. Of these, two-thirds are oleic acid. This means that eating almonds is very similar to taking olive oil in a cardiovascular standpoint.

This nut is one of the few sources of vegetable protein that contains arginine, an amino acid essential for children.

Almonds by the number of essential elements that have for our body make its consumption convenient in terms of growth, being a good complement for our diet. Despite its dry and homogeneous appearance, the almond contains a significant amount of soluble fiber (10%). It is ideal for stimulating bowel movements and to give satiety.

There are two kinds of almonds: sweet and bitter; bitter because of its content, are toxic to the body, so it should not be consumed. Sweet almonds are edible, containing: water, protein, fat, carbohydrates and cellulose; vitamins B1, B2, PP, C, A, D and E; calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, chlorine, manganese, copper and zinc. They also contain the eight essential amino acids. Almonds are an essential food in a healthy and balanced diet.
